Synopsis

Coming back to her broken home accompanied by her French husband Benjamin, pregnant writer Huang Xiaoyu finds herself trapped between her cult-brainwashed mother, Li Juimei, and her coming-out homosexual father, Huang Tao. Xiaoyu remembers when she was little, Juimei caught Tao making out with a man, and it was then that the family started to fall apart. Now that many years had passed, the father decides that he’d had enough and asks for a divorce. In misery and remorse, the mother then reveals to her daughter a deep secret of her own…
