Synopsis
Jan is a failing book store owner. His domineering mother has a beguiling and headstrong friend Rosalie. His flatmate Hannah uses his life as an inspiration for her own comedy show. How does a man like Jan hold up to so many powerful women in his life? Does he have to? Is there any use for him beyond a sperm donation, symbolic of powerful men held in old days? What chances does he have, fixated on his mother and an expert in Marcel Proust's writing, to finally 'man up' and lead his life?
