
Synopsis
Being gay in Cuba has never being easy. For women it's even more difficult, they have to face the double standard of being women and gay in a society with a high level of machismo. Even more complicated is being a lesbian mother. They don't have access to adoption or IV, but in Cuba there is always a way. Mamis is a story about Violeta, Isabel, Tamara and Yoana: some Cuban women who found their own way. Women who never liker to ask for permission to live their lives, despite the prejudices and rules of Cuban society.
