Synopsis
After the sudden death of her best friend Trisha, Barbs Cordero tries to go on with her life. She works as a talented mortuary beautician at Happy Ending Funeral Homes, while she continues to join gay beauty contests and pays it back by training new protégés for the crown. Just when she thinks everything is in order, life surprises her. When another friend dies, Barbs blames herself. Convinced that being transgender is a curse, she decides to live a straight life. She bids goodbye to Barbs and welcomes back her old self, Bobby. But she can only hide Barbs for so long before she eventually falls in love with Trisha's ex-boyfriend, Michael Angelo. Conflict ensues when Greg, Barb's old flame who she never got over, comes back and asks for another chance. But things are just about to take a surprising turn. A woman comes knocking on the door, claiming that she's having Barbs's baby.
