Synopsis
On the night of their anniversary in Beijing, a Chinese woman Annie Wang must decide whether to keep her Asian-American girlfriend Sam Lee a secret from her traditional family with the upcoming Chinese New Year, or dare to be her true self. Faced with pressure from Sam who's looking to take things to the next level, family pushing her to come home for the holidays and society that expects her to act a certain way, Annie's forced to figure out if there's a path forward for her in all this… or if she'll have to carve out her own.
