
Synopsis
Xia Qing, a hard-of-hearing boy who cherishes his dance passion, yearns for acceptance from his single deaf mother. His occasional act of painting his pinky nail red signifies his quest for beauty and self-expression. When the rare opportunity to audition for his dream dance company arises, he hopes to not only pursue his passion but also bridge the gap between him and his mother through the silent language of dance, as he confronts his enigmatic self-identity crisis.
